I tried golf for the first time to get outside more

I’m a very unathletic person who usually spends more time on the sofa than on the move, so I decided to set myself a challenge: can I go from knowing nothing about golf to playing a full 18-hole course in just 6 weeks?

As much as I love hiking, I’ve been struggling to hit my daily steps in my industrial town. I wanted to find a way to get outside, learn a new skill, and stop feeling "embarrassed" to try things in front of strangers. However... this wasn't the relaxing stroll I expected.

In this video I’m sharing the real life journey of learning a famously frustrating sport. From embarrassing myself at the driving range (multiple times) to getting lessons and finally facing my first full course in the pouring British rain.

Whether you're a golfer, a hiker, or just someone who is terrified of being a beginner, I hope this encourages you to try that "scary" new hobby. It might be embarrassing, but learning something new is so worth it!
